Patient Participation Group

Being part of the Patient Participation Group is your chance to shape the future of Shap Medical Practice; it is about having your say about the Practice and the services it offers. You will also find out how the Practice fits into the wider structure of the NHS.

The role of the PPG has been to:

1. Represent the ‘patient interest’ by working alongside the Practice and evaluating performance. Together we review what is working within the Practice and what is not.

2. Communicate with the Practice population, feedback the information received to develop and plan future services to be delivered.

3. Act as a partner with the Practice at strategic and operational levels.

Please be mindful that feedback is welcome although it is not to reflect personal agendas or complaints against the Practice – there are existing channels for this to be done (just ask at reception).

Shap Patient Participation Group seeks new members!
